Nell is a Chinese-American illustrator based in Boston specializing in the big and small: public art and comics. She is known for her cute characters, bright colors, and bold, fun lines.
She holds a masters in Art Education from Lesley University and a BFA in illustration and a minor in creative writing from MassArt. She also has been teaching art in museums, art centers, and community centers.
She has self-published 2 comic books. Her dream is to continue making comics, to publish a graphic novel, and to one day have her art in Times Square's Midnight Moment.
Nell has experience in art instruction in museums and art centers in and around Boston. She currently serves in a nonprofit supporting youth leadership.
