nell valle (she/her)
Nell is a Chinese-American illustrator based in Boston, specializing in the big and small: public art and comics. She is known for her cute characters, bright colors, and bold, playful lines.
She holds a Master’s in Art Education from Lesley University, a BFA in Illustration, and a minor in Creative Writing from MassArt. With experience teaching art in museums, art centers, and community spaces throughout the Boston area, Nell is passionate about making art accessible and engaging for people of all ages.
Nell has self-published two comic books and dreams of continuing to create comics, publishing a graphic novel, and one day having her artwork featured in Times Square’s Midnight Moment.
Alongside her studio practice, Nell currently works at a nonprofit supporting youth leadership, where she continues to combine her love of creativity, education, and community.
